Our son went to this daycare for over six months. In the beginning it was a wonderful experience, I felt I could trust everyone there, I loved how there was many different rooms for different ages and stages of development, even different playgrounds! His first class was incredible the teachers were gentle and patient. My son loved it! He soon grew out of that class and was placed in a class for toddlers that were about to be two years old. The transition was hard for him like with any change for a child that young but he soon got over it. It all changed when I checked the cameras and saw a staff member being rough with my child, alarmed I called the school to ask if they could check on the children. I immediately went to pick up my child and talk to the school director. She assured me that she's new and has never worked in a daycare environment before so they are going to do some trainings with her. I simply stated that I don't want her working with my child anymore. The director said that this staff member, Alyssa that works in the Clownfish room, would not be working on the days my son attended anymore. Two weeks later we go to drop him off and she's working. I talked to the secretary and she says the director never said she couldn't schedule her. So I decided that everyone deserves a second chance, and I was told she completed the trainings. About three months later I check the camera and Alyssa is manhandling children left and right. She's grabbing children and moving them aggressively, pushed various children out of the way and even shoved a child into my child who in turn hit his head on the tile floor. I rushed to get my son. I talked to Alyssa who told me "I don't think it's abusive".I talked to the secretary Lindsey, asking to speak to the director Stacy who wasn't there I told her I'd be in tomorrow to talk to her at some point, because when I asked what time she would be there, I was told "I don't know". At the end of our conversation Lindsey smirked at me and told me to "have a good day" after my child was abused. Absolutely ridiculous. The next day I call Lindsey to ask if Stacy the director is available and she said yes in two hours she will be here. She calls back 30 minutes later to tell me she is not going to be back until Monday. I never once recieved a call from the director Stacy about the incident. I tried contacting her multiple times. She was busy. I called the human resources department for the company that owns them and a man left me a message and saying that I need to get in contact with their supervisor, Angel immediately and forwarded my voicemail to her. Stacy finally called me back and explained that's not what Alyssa told her happened, of course not. I then asked why this isn't a top priority and she stated that she just got really busy and was on a business trip. Angel the supervisor finally called me back at 7:30 pm however, I missed the call and immediately called back, no answer. I left a voice mail and told her to not call me back. This place is supposedly the best daycare in the Tucson/Oro Valley area, but not even here is your child safe. I'm disappointed and saddened that this has happened and I will never trust a daycare again. PARENTS: if you decide for your child to go here I urge you please watch the cameras! If you see something call the police. This has happened before.

  • Always greeted with a smile; after plugging in a secure code to enter the facility. Lindsay or Stacy are always glad to entertain the questions I have (first baby, so I ask a lot). All of the teachers have been great in the Angle fish room: Amy, Miss Nancy, Donielle, Miss Patty and in the past, Heather. They all seem to sincerely enjoy the kids and caring for them. I'm excited to see what the next room brings once my daughter learns to walk. I like the structure of the class as well as the fun activities they do throughout the week. The food served is a really good variety, as well. The facility is always clean and feels like a place I'm happy to have my daughter enrolled. Keep up the good work, everyone at Pusch Ridge Preschool!
